In just five years the traditional ice cream market in Mexico melted 11.5%, because its value went from $ 693.1 million in 2008 to 613.7 million dollars in 2013.

The story changes with brands that sell ice cream of yogurt.

The value of this sector grew 35.4 percent between 2009 and 2014, going from 16.8 mdd 22.7 billion dollars planned for the end of this year, according to consulting firm Euromonitor International estimates.

By market share, Nutrisa tops the list with 66% of the sales of yoghurt ice cream, while the remaining 34% is distributed among brands as Yogen Fruz, recruitment, Nuny�s Yogurt and Moyo.
